Maruti Baleno Overview
Latest Update: Maruti Baleno is being offered with discounts of up to Rs 45,000 this August.
Price: It is priced between Rs 6.61 lakh and Rs 9.88 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
Variants: The Baleno can be had in four broad variants: Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha.
Colours: Customers can buy it in six monotone colours: Nexa Blue, Pearl Arctic White, Grandeur Grey, Splendid Silver, Opulent Red, Luxe Beige and Pearl Midnight Black.
Boot Space: It has a boot space of 318 litres, which is reduced to 55 litres in CNG variants.
Engine and Transmission: It uses a 1.2-litre petrol engine (90PS/113Nm) paired with a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT.
In CNG mode, the same unit churns out 77.49PS and 98.5Nm and is only available with a 5-speed manual transmission. Idle-start/stop technology is also added to the engine, replacing the previously existing mild-hybrid technology.

Features: The Maruti Baleno comes equipped with a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an Arkamys sound system, a heads-up display, and cruise control. It also gets auto AC, push-button start/stop and keyless entry.
Safety: It gets up to six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability program (ESP), hill-hold assist, 3-point seatbelts for all passengers, ISOFIX anchorages, rear parking sensors and a 360-degree camera.
Rivals: The Maruti Baleno is a rival to the Hyundai i20, Tata Altroz, Citroen C3 and Toyota Glanza.
