Nissan Magnite Car Latest Update

Latest Update: Nissan has launched the Magnite AMT in India.

Price: Prices for the Magnite range between Rs 6 lakh and Rs 11.02 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Variants: You can buy it in five broad variants: XE, XL, XV Executive, XV and XV Premium. The Red Edition is offered in three variants: XV MT, XV Turbo MT and XV Turbo CVT.

Colours: Nissan offers the Magnite in three dual-tone and five monotone shades: Pearl White With Onyx Black, Tourmaline Brown with Onyx Black, Vivid Blue With Storm White, Vivid Blue With Onyx Black (new), Blade Silver, Flare Garnet Red, Onyx Black, Sandstone Brown, and Storm White.

Seating Capacity: It’s a 5-seater subcompact SUV.

Boot Space: The Magnite offers a boot space of 336 litres.

Engine and Transmission: It comes with two petrol engine choices: a 1-litre naturally aspirated engine (72PS/96Nm) and a 1-litre turbo-petrol engine (100PS/up to 160Nm). A 5-speed manual transmission is standard, and the turbo engine can also be had with a CVT (with torque output reduced to 152Nm). It now also gets a 5-speed AMT option with the naturally aspirated petrol engine.

Features: It comes with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and a 7-inch digital instrument cluster. It also gets push-button start/stop, and auto air-conditioning with rear vents. The Tech Pack, which is available with the XV and XV Premium trims, comes with features such as a wireless phone charger, air purifier, JBL speakers, ambient lighting, and puddle lamps.

Safety: Dual front airbags, a 360-degree camera, hill-start assist and electronic stability control (ESC), and tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) ensure passenger safety.

Rivals: The Nissan Magnite takes on the Kia SonetHyundai VenueMaruti Suzuki BrezzaTata NexonMahindra XUV300Renault Kiger, and Citroen C3. The subcompact SUV also rivals the likes of Maruti Fronx and Hyundai Exter.
